Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere and many of its nearly 10 million residents live in abject poverty.. Convoy of Hope has worked in Haiti for several years and currently feeds 7,000 children every day.

Convoy of Hope Arrives April 11, 2008 at Redeemer FLC for Community Rally

On Friday night the community rally offered fun and fellowship in preparation for the event on Saturday

The chilly 40 degree temperature and 20 mph winds didn't stop the determined volunteers.

The bags of food are readied for the crowds.

The musicians played for hours in the blowing winds.

The community services area offered many services.

The fire truck was a big draw for everyone. Free lunches were provided for the crowds.
5000 bags of food were set out for the needy. Each received two bags per family Many people appreciated the prayer tent where volunteers shared love and concern.
Kids Zone was really popular with the crowd.
Convoy of Hope was a chance for all churches to reach out in their common goal to share the Gospel and their love for all people. Everyone was blessed, both volunteers and the those in need.
