Divorce Recovery Seminar

Where does one turn when your world is turned upside-down by a divorce.  Whether you are young and have children or older and find yourself alone, what do you do next?

Redeemer Lutheran Church offers seminars in the spring and the fall. Call for dates.

Registration can be accomplished by attending the first or second session or by calling the church at 870-425-6071 to reserve materials.  Participates may make a donation-however, not required- to help cover materials, including Rev. Jim Smoke's book, "Growing Through Divorce."  Sessions are strictly confidential and child care is provided at the church by Sharon Williams.

The seminar is for those who are adjusting to the finality of a broken marriage.  The goal is to help people with the painful transition to single life by offering tools which have worked for others in similar situations.

The sessions are led by Patricia Lewis and Kenneth Taglauer.  Patricia Lewis has a Master of Arts degree in community counseling and is a licensed professional counselor.  She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and provides Christian-based counseling to individuals by appointment.  Kenneth Taglauer is Associate Pastor at Redeemer and is a certified intimate life counselor and member of the board of Ozark Family Ministries.  He has a BS degree in Education, a Masters of Divinity ,and is also a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
