Handbells are a unique and beautiful way to praise the Lord with music.  Although it is not required, a player would benefit from a little knowledge of the piano and/or music theory.  If you aren’t familiar with music theory, you can be taught how to ring handbells.  We use a system of marking the music for those who cannot read the notes.  Handbells do take a lot of practice, and that is accomplished on Wednesday afternoons from 5:00 to 6:00 pm.  We usually play on the third Sunday of the month and for seasonal concerts.  We do not meet or play during the summer months.  Even though we work hard, we do have a lot of fun making a song come together.  If you are interested, call Nancy Sanders at 425-4185.
