Redeemer Prayer Shawl Ministry

Each shawl is given with this card of information and dedicated and blessed at Redeemer.

The Prayer Shawl Ministry is a way for Redeemer Lutheran Church to share our love for Our Lord Jesus Christ and extend that love to members of our congregation, to our community and beyond.  Prayer Shawls are lovingly made by our members with prayers and blessings woven in among the threads.  Completed shawls are presented to God at the altar and blessed by one of the pastors before being given to the recipient.  Each shawl is a tangible reminder of God's promises of comfort, hope and love that we are able to share with others.

Below are some pictures of our group and their activities. Many of our shawls are given to the Hospice House of the Ozarks and some are presented as gifts for those who have given much of their time to help in heeling others.

Anyone who knits or crochets is welcome to join us.  You do not have to me a member of the congregation. Meetings are held every 3 months in the Fellowship Hall.   For more information, you may contact Ruth Clark at 425-7941 or Linda McAllister at 431-8958
